OFSTED registered Childminder in Haddenham, Bucks

Welcome!

My name is Becky Davies and I am an OFSTED registered childminder in the village of Haddenham, Buckinghamshire. I live with my husband Lloyd and our two children Phoebe and Joshua & dog Luna.

I have a home from home setting catering for all needs. I encourage child led learning, by offering space to explore and be curious in a safe and loving environment.

My experience has been built since 1997, where initially I completed a modern apprenticeship as a Nursery Nurse attaining NVQ levels 2 & 3 in Childcare and Education. After 4 years in a reputable day nursery I became a private nanny, and worked for various families for over 10 years with children ranging from 0-9 years of age. On my move from nannying to childminding I completed the Home Childcare Practise course to ensure that I am conforming to all the latest legislation.

During my time looking after many different children, I noticed the huge benefits of the outdoors and being in the natural environment. This lead me to doing my level 3 Forest School Leader qualification in 2022. I use the knowledge i gained to offer the children a safe and nurturing environment, where i encourage growth across all areas of development.

I am also a member of the PACEY (Professional Association for Childminding and Early Years) and hold my public liability insurance with them. I hold a current First Aid certificate covering babies and children. My husband, daughter and I have an Enhanced Disclosure from the CRB (Criminal Records Bureau).
